WHAT IS URBANOS

We design the relationships that make complex territories work.

UrbanOS integrates architecture, infrastructure, landscape and territory so that complex operations function, evolve and respond as integrated urban systems.

WHAT WE DO

01Productive and operational territories
02Camps, campuses and new centralities
03Industrial parks and regenerative systems

02 / URBANOS RESEARCH

Research to open new fields of design.

Our research lines transform contemporary challenges into spatial, environmental and functional models capable of guiding concrete projects and shaping new urban systems.

01 / RESEARCH

Vaca Muerta · Energy and mining

Regenerative Camp Systems

We research a new generation of camps for the energy and mining sectors: highly efficient temporary settlements that integrate operations, wellbeing and territorial regeneration. Rather than isolated facilities, we conceive them as adaptable urban systems capable of evolving and leaving a positive legacy.

03 / PROJECTS

Research transformed into projects.

Projects by UrbanOS or SSA Arquitectos, concept proposals and works in development. Each case makes explicit the research guiding its design decisions.

P01 / Independent Concept Proposal

Vaca Muerta · Neuquén

HSE + TR Camp

A highly efficient temporary settlement proposal integrating operations, safety, wellbeing and territorial regeneration. The camp is organized as an adaptable urban system capable of evolving in stages and leaving a positive legacy.

P02 / Applied Project

Zárate · 2010

Zárate International Racetrack

A sports infrastructure conceived as a highly complex territorial system. Track, pits, workshops, grandstands, access, mass mobility, safety, services, hospitality and landscape are coordinated within a single operational strategy.

P03 / Project in Development

Pilar

University Campus

A comprehensive study of the campus, its internal relationships and its connection to the territory. Knowledge, mobility, landscape, buildings and infrastructure are understood as an open network capable of guiding its future transformation.

P04 / Project in Development

New centrality for the town of San Francisco

Pilar North Urban Hub

A mixed-use urban center designed to build identity, centrality and community life for San Francisco. The project brings together housing, retail, work, gastronomy, services, landscape and public space around a central park and a pedestrian promenade.

26+

Years designing architecture, urbanism and complex territories.

UrbanOS is grounded in 26 years of experience at SSA Arquitectos. This background allows us to bring design knowledge, strategic capacity and an integrated approach into new fields of practice—where architecture, infrastructure, landscape and territory must be conceived as parts of the same Urban Operating System.
